Winsurf Mainframe Access offers connection to IBM mainframes and midrange machines through 3270 and 5250 from workstations running on 3.11,95 or Windows NT. The client workstation can run either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator/Communicators in either Telnet mode or via any of the major communications gateways(Microsoft, Novell Eicon, and Sagem.

In addition Winsurf Mainframe Access offers powerful administration functionality allowing installation and updates on a central server to set and administer user groups, to add new users groups or changes services as required.

IBM mainframes access is a sub set of ICOM Informatique Intranet offering. Mainframe Access laos allows you connection to Bull and DEC/Unix hosts

Winsurf Mainframe Access allows access to IBM S/370 and S/390 mainframes through the following terminal emulations: IBM3278, IBM3279, in standard or extended mode, IBM3179G,3192G,3472G, in graphic and 3D mode. In addition you can access to AS400 in Telnet mode with 5250 emulation.

Winsurf Mainframe Access is provided with 3287 print emulation (LU1 and LU3 type) and the following file transfers: FTP, DFT-mode IND$FILE for CIC, TSO and VM connections

Access to IBM mainframes can be achieved through various IBM communications controllers: X25 connection and SDLC gateway with37xx controller, connection in Telnet mode with a 3172 controller.

Winsurf Mainframe Access is compatible with major SNA communications gateways: Microsoft SNA Server, Novell Intranetware for SAA, IBMCOM Server, SNA Eicon, etc.

AS400 access can be via Telnet mode or through a communication gateway such as Microsoft SNA Server or Novell Intranetware for SAA
